Loop components are our places of portable productivity. We create components and add different Loop blocks to suit our collaborative purposes. Then we share them in Teams chats, meetings, and Outlook email. Now we have two more Microsoft apps that support Loop components and expand our options β Word Online and Whiteboard.
This was one of the first things I tested. I uploaded a Word document to a Teams channel then tried to insert a Loop component. It was denied. But for Word docs located in a OneDrive, inserting Loops are supported.
Support for Loops in Teams and team-based docs is still coming. My hope is that a Loop inserted into a Teams doc will be stored in the team with the doc.

Where does the loop component get stored if we create a document in team site library? Does it still get saved personβs OneDrive?
If yes, not a great experience I guess, I wouldnβt want to share a component from my OneDrive to the whole team. π
